Final conference of RuRES project

The final conference of the project „Renewable energy sources and energy efficiency in a function of rural development-RuRES”, co-financed by the European Union under the Interreg V-A Hungary-Croatia Co-operation Programme 2014-2020, was held on 17th December 2018 in Osijek (Croatia) at University of Osijek Faculty of Electrical Engineering Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek. In the first part of conference, Danijel Topić (University of Osijek) presented the main results and steps of the project, Cecília Mezei and Sándor Zsolt Kovács (Institute for Regional Studies CERS HAS) talked about the renewable energy potential model. Bernadett Kovács and Alexander Titov (Kaposvár University) presented the results of survey which made from experiences in Koppány Valley.

 

The second session of the conference involved three presentation about the different parts of the renewable energies. Hrvoje Pandžić (Univeristy of Osijek) delivered a presentation about the different types of energy storages and their roles in the rural distribution networks. Marinko Stojkov (University of Osijek) presented the evolution and technical features of the water pumps, and the details of the Croatian MAHE Program. The last lecturer was Rebeka Raff (University of Osijek), who talked about the possibilities of biogas production, and presented a good practice.
