The XXIV Conference of Young Geographers, organised by the Romanian Academy of Sciences and the Faculty of Geography of the University of Bucharest, took place on 9 December at the Research Institute of Geography in Bucharest, in honour of the 80th anniversary of the Institute. Tamás Hardi and Ádám Páthy hold a plenary speech entitled “Analysis of territorial disparities among rural commuting centres in Hungary, using census data”. Zakaria Suleiman participated as a young speaker in the session “Walkability: Key Measures and Methods of Assessment”. Zakaria Suleiman’s presentation won the special prize of the conference.
