The aim of the series “Regions of the Carpathian Basin” is to present the natural, social, settlement and economic state of the Carpathian Basin regions in Hungary and beyond, to assess the changes that have occurred during the transformation period, to place the regions in the European economic space and to present development concepts. The authors of the volumes are Hungarian researchers from beyond the borders, who are also contributing to the development of Hungarian regional science workshops beyond the borders.<\/p>\n
