The conference was jointly organized by the <strong>ELTE Institute for Regional Studies of the CERS<\/strong> and the <strong>Department of Political Science at the Universit\u00e9 Libre de Bruxelles<\/strong>. The event took place as part of project number 146411 and was financed under the K-23 tender program, with support from the National Research, Development and Innovation Fund of the Ministry of Culture and Innovation.<\/div>\n<div data-sfc-cp=\"\" data-hveid=\"CAEIAhAA\" data-processed=\"true\" data-complete=\"true\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"Y3BBE\" data-sfc-cp=\"\" data-hveid=\"CAEIAhAA\" data-processed=\"true\" data-complete=\"true\">The majority of the speakers attending the conference\u2014mostly from Europe\u2014came from the world of political science. The presentations touched upon the history, current situation, participation in national, European, and subnational elections, the relationship between these parties and civil society, as well as the paradiplomatic and protodiplomatic activities of regional and ethnoregional parties.
