The CRISK\u00d6R project accounts and evaluates the environmental harmful human activities in 30 Romanian and Hungarian settlements affected by the Fekete and the Feh\u00e9r-K\u00f6r\u00f6s rivers; thereby it would like to contribute to the spatial development policy, which intends to implement sustainable use of the environment and conservation actions of the region. To do this, we need to explore those social activities, which have environmental risk in the region, especially in the K\u00f6r\u00f6s valley. After all, with the scientific assessment of the pollutions\u2019 levels, we are able to draw conclusions, which allow us to implement procedures aiming the reduction the effects of these activities. The main target groups were the affected population and the farmers. Finally a qualitative and quantitative assessment of polluting activities, evaluation of the environmental awareness of the population, a scientific sound impact analysis and an estimation of the potential environmental risks are the basis for the action plan, which aims to conserving the carrying capacity of the physical geographically homogenous landscape.
