The library has more than 50,000 documents: around 8,200 journals and 30,000 books, the remaining are scientific manuscripts, maps and electronic documents. The library subscribes 40 foreign \u2013 mainly in the areas of region and settlement development, regional studies \u2013 journals. Yearly book improvement is 500 volumes average, half of it in foreign languages. Border area research and documentation centres work in Gy\u0151r (Hungarian\u2013Slovakian\u2013Austrian) and B\u00e9k\u00e9scsaba (Hungarian\u2013Serbian\u2013Romanian).<\/p>\n<p><strong>P\u00e9cs<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Central Library (P\u00e9cs) of the Institute for Regional Studies<\/p>\n<p>The Library is of scientific profile and open with restricted access for external researchers, students, visitors\u00a0or anyone coming here with research purposes.<\/p>\n<p>Full access to its services is granted for the staff of Centre for Regional Studies.\u00a0Our services are also available for:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; researchers of other academic institutes<br \/>\n&#8211; guest researchers coming from foreign countries<br \/>\n&#8211; university and college professors<br \/>\n&#8211; external researchers participating in the Institute&#8217;s research projects<br \/>\n&#8211; PhD students<\/p>\n<p id=\"ctl00_ctl00_maincontent_maincontent_contentpage_content_h1title\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rkk.hu\/en\/libraries\/pecs\/scope_of_collection_the_holdings_of_the_library.html\">Scope of collection<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/opac3.rki-pecs.monguz.hu\/en_GB\/search\">Online catalogue system<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Contact:<br \/>\nP\u00e9cs, H-7621 Papn\u00f6velde str. 22.<br \/>\nPostal address:\u00a0 7601 P\u00e9cs, P.O.
