Establishment of the Institute of Studies in Federalism and Decentralisation in Hungary

The Transdanubian Research Department and the European Institute of University of Geneva launched a joint research programme in autumn of 2011. The overall aim of this project, that it explores them principles and views of Swiss state structure and policy, which are applicable and adaptable in a centralized county, e.g. in Hungary. This research covered a number of activities, the most important of these a handbook, what entitled Federalism and Decentralisation – Handbook of the Swiss structures and the Hungarian utilization. Other activities: publications, forums and workshops, study tours and conference.
